Density Challenge - you and your partner(s) will complete the challenge for both a score and potential bonus. Good Luck!

Dry your final plants for measurement next class. Plan what needs to happen to complete lab report and keynote presentation. Both are due at the beginning of next week.

Homework
  • Finalize question, hypothesis, procedure for lab report. Be to complete data collection in your data table. Know what you are going to do for data analysis and graphing so you will be able to draw conclusions efficiently.
  • Work on your part of the keynote presentation.

  • Wrapping up plant lab next week. You will need to complete a lab report (individual) AND a keynote (as a group). You can begin work on this. Make sure you are in good shape and know what you need to do and when.

Study for Test on elements of a scientific investigation. Topics will include creating a testable question or purpose, forming a hypothesis, experimental design, data and observations, making a graph (using graphing rules), reading simple graphs, drawing conclusions and inferences. There will also be a problem where you will need to show that you can read a quad beam balance.

Write conclusion - does the data support or not support your hypothesis. Use the data to defend your statement. What might be the significance of the findings? Are there any reasons you can give to support the outcome? Were there errors? How could this experiment be improved?
